What we ask before a foundation repair visit
What the house is doing and when you first noticed — sticking doors, brick cracks, sloping floors, separating trim. And whether anything changed recently: a tree removed, a drive poured, a room added, a water bill that jumped. None of it is a script; it decides what we bring.
When to call sooner rather than later
A crack that is visibly wider than it was a month ago, a door that went from sticking to not closing, a floor that developed a noticeable slope, or a warm spot on a slab floor with an unexplained water bill. The last one especially — a slab leak feeding expansive clay does damage quickly and is one of the few causes insurance frequently covers.
